What's On My Bedside Table

What a person choses to keep next to their beds says a lot about a person and I think it is really interesting. It is a place to put the things you reach for first thing in the morning and last thing at night, it is also one of the first things you see when you open your eyes which is why I think it is super important to make sure it's filled not just with things you need but with things you love.

I hope you enjoy this little insight!

I have a pretty simple little bedside table from Ikea, it is wooden with a glass top. It was super cheap and because the wood is untreated, I'm thinking about painting it copper?

On top I have a placemat under everything just so that if I have a drink on the table and I spill it, it wont ruin my books. Genius right!?

I like to have a selection of books to hand, some I've read and loved and some I haven't yet read. I am loving reading recently and am really enjoying having the physical copy rather than reading on my iPad.

Obviously, I have some candles. But something I want a little light but without the fire worry so I also have an empty Yankee Candle jar filled with battery operated fairy lights.

I have this gorgeous golden jewellery tree, I keep my favourite pieces here just so I remember to wear them but also so that nothing ever gets lost because it all has its own place!

On the little shift I have a flowery box which contains my limited skin care, yes its a small box because I hate skin care and I barely use anything.

Inside I have a moisturiser, cleanser and hand cream. The hand cream is Wonder Hand by Zoella Beauty and I'll be reviewing it soon! The other stuff is just from Wilkinsons because as I said, I couldn't care less about skin care.

Make Up wipes because I'm a lazy girl!

I'm really happy with my bedside table, it has everything I need to hand and it's cute. I'd love to know what your bed side essentials are, see what I'm missing! Comment below!

January Favourites

January has been such a quick little month! It has just flown by! It hasn't been the best month but thanks to Christmas, I have had so much to love!

So lets get into it!

Beauty

 Zoella Wonder Hand

I got this as a Christmas present and I am in love! I don't really get dry skin so I've never been big on hand creams but I am converted. The scent is divine, the packaging is super cute and it is just addictive. I apply it literally 10 times a day.

Maybelline Color Tattoo - Creme De Rose

I received so many eyeshadows for Christmas and this has been my base of choice. The colour is perfect for giving a completely soft, matte, smooth base and ensures that any shadows I apply on top are completely true to colour. It also looks great alone so this really is a great product. For a full review, have a look a few posts back!

Collection Contour Kit
I picked this up simply because it was £2.99, such a delicious bargain that I had to have. Ive been loving my Benefit Hoola but I was going through it so quickly that I decided I needed a cheaper alternative to wear on a day to day basis. I love this, the contour is so natural looking and easy to apply. The highlight is nice too but I feel like its a little too shimmery for me.

Music

Panic! At The Disco - Death Of A Bachelor

January in my opinion has been terrible for music, nothing has caught my eye other than this little master piece by Panic! This album is like a beautiful little piece of nostalgia and I'm loving it. My previous blog post is a review of this album, if you're interested!

TV Shows

Pretty Little Liars - Season Six

Everyone loves PLL this is no surprise and it is probably in almost everybody's favourites, I don't want to be boring but it is amazing and it is a favourite. Its killing me to wait a whole week between episodes! So annoying!

Shadow Hunters

Shadow Hunters is a new Netflix original based on The Mortal Instruments book series, I am a fan of the books and I loved the movie so I was super excited to see this. Its not as good as id hoped it would be but I'm still finding myself super excited for it to be on every Wednesday so I must like it!

Books

Extraordinary Means

I cannot tell you how bloody much I loved this book, I was full on addicted for two days. I read it so quickly! And I was heartbroken once it was over. Im still upset that I cant keep reading. It is a sad book but it is mostly about love and hope, its beautiful and you need to read it!

Youtuber

Miss Budget Beauty

Miss Budget Beauty has a beautiful family, a cute dog, shows affordable products and is most importantly, so relatable! I feel like I could know her, she is normal but also charming and lovely. I get so excited when she posts a new video, check her out!

Thanks for taking the time to see what I've been loving this past month, what have you guys been loving?
